Each year we bring our community together to celebrate the summer solstice for a great cause! This year, we're expanding to accommodate 100 tables, continuing our quest for the world's longest dinner table!

THE 4TH ANNUAL LONGEST DINNER TABLE
IN SOUTH LAKE TAHOE
Like previous years, we'll be organizing by individual tables of 6 guests.
Secure your table by purchasing a ticket through Eventbrite until June 1st or until they sell out. Remember, only one person needs to buy the table, and then it's up to you to fill it with 5 other people.
***Remember- We will provide the tables, chairs, and white tablecloths!***
The fun part is coming up with your table them! Your table is your blank canvas to decorate as you please. Whether you want to go all out or keep it chill, it's totally up to you. Let your imagination run wild! You may just win the best table award!!

This year’s epic potluck dinner will be serenaded by Tahoe's very own Mescalito!
A seven-piece rock n’roll band based out of South Lake Tahoe, Mescalito was born out of a shared passion for music and the outdoors. Their mountain rock n’ soul sound has found solid ground in the Tahoe music scene and beyond!
RAFFLE & FUNDRAISER:
We will be selling raffle tickets again this year for a chance to win another mega prize. Last year it was a Super73 Electric Bike. Stay tuned for this year's epic raffle prize!
This year, ticket proceeds and our live raffle will be benefitting the F.E.E.T Fund of South Lake Tahoe!
(Fulfilling Equitable Educational Trips)
This local community non-profit improves the educational experience of elementary school students in South Lake Tahoe by providing funds for enriching field trip experiences, particularly for those with financial need.

Additionally, they support educators by offering funding and compensation, allowing them to focus on teaching rather than fundraising. Please visit their website if you are interested in further supporting this valuable program!
How to join us for the Longest Table event:
STEP 1:
Decide if you want to be a table leader. Can you rally 5 friends or family members and coordinate the meal and decorations? Great! Buy your table through the Eventbrite page. You're in charge of filling the seats at your own table. You can divide up the cost of the table between the 6 of you.
STEP 2:
Each table seats 6 people and is its own self-contained potluck so find 5 friends or family to join you. Each table leader should assign someone to an entree, appetizer, dessert, and/ or beverages. Coordinate who will bring plates, cups & cutlery. Lastly, come up with a table theme!
Don’t want to be a table leader but want to still come?
Reach out to your friends and see if anyone is willing to take on that responsibility! We've set up a Facebook group where you can find extra seats that another table might have, or you can find additional guests to fill your table!
Best Table Contest
Just like last year, we will have a competition for the title of Best Table! We will award the coveted three story trophy to the Best Table who goes all out in their table theme, decorations, and costumes! We can't wait to see what everyone will come up with! How did the Longest Dinner Table begin in Lake Tahoe?
In 2018, Chris, Tor, and Darcie came up with a wild idea: bring our Ski Run neighborhood together, from the base of Heavenly mountain all the way to the lake, with a dinner table spanning the distance.
Our first Longest Dinner Table event took place in Novus Select's yard with only 21 tables. Fast forward to today, and we've grown to 100 tables and counting!
Our mighty team of four—Chris and Viktoria McNamara, Katy Jo and Darcie Goodman Collins, are excited to carry on this tradition of celebrating community and expanding the longest table event each year, all for a great cause. Who knows? Maybe one day we'll actually reach our goal of a dinner table that spans from the mountains to the lake!
